I was born in 2002 in Bremen, Germany and found my way into photography at the age of 15. Since then I cannot recall a single day that it hasn’t been on my mind and no matter where I go, a camera is always with me. Currently I live in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, where I study Photography at the Willem de Kooning Academy.
Taking photos is my attempt to make sense of this world. It lets me find places, connect with people and helps me understand inner processes.
Leaning on the long tradition of documentary photography I try to visualize my feelings and thoughts towards this world as well as learn more about it. My explorations often revolve around specific locations that, consciously or not, connect to a personal background.
I am looking forward to many more years with this addicting and frustrating yet wonderful medium that helps me understand life around me.
